As the school year winds down for neighboring universities, you might have noticed that Haight Street is gearing up to hire at a pretty staggering rate, even considering the number of storefront closures.

We've got 24 openings and counting, so if you're ready to shift gears or land a summer gig, start spiffing up that resume. And remember, if you're looking for a retail or low-key side gig, good news: San Francisco's minimum wage will hit $13 an hour by July 1st.


Restaurants and food service:

Magnolia Gastropub & Brewery (1398 Haight St.) is currently hiring for a kitchen manager and floor manager. Both positions are compensation-TBD but offer potential medical benefits, and the floor manager position includes workday full meal comp.
