SoMa Week: Boozy Fashion Pop-Ups, Ginuwine Performs, Free Laughs Over Laundry & MoreSoCal fashion designers devowevo & Marina Fini. (Photo: devowevo/Facebook)

Sticking around for the long weekend? Perfect. Here are a few ideas for keeping busy over the next few days.

While you're out looking for Memorial Day deals, why not give some California-born fashion designers a try? 111 Minna and Monarch are both pairing booze with up-and-coming designers, to help neighborhood men and women out of their fashion comfort zones.

If washboard abs and steamy lyrics are your cup of tea, there's still time to grab tickets to see Ginuwine, accompanied by a full live band, Sunday night at Mezzanine. Intrigued? "Jump on it," because early-bird tickets are already sold out.

Finally, Brainwash Cafe, well-known for its weekly stand-up comedy shows, is kicking off a summer-long comedy fest on Monday. Starting Memorial Day, stop by the cafe at 7:30pm every Monday night through mid-September, and watch funny people duke it out on stage for the chance to perform at Doc's Lab in North Beach and win cash prizes. Not a bad way to spend laundry night.
