Flyers on neighbors' front doors this week announced a new round of filming for the ABC miniseries When We Rise, which has been shooting around the city. This time, the production is headed to the Upper Haight, for a day of shooting on Friday, May 6th.

Filming will take place in Buena Vista Park from noon to 5pm, and at Haight and Central from 5-8pm. Presumably, the latter shoot will involve some footage of the new mural on the side of Central Haight Market that When We Rise paid to install in late April.

As part of tomorrow's shoot, parking will be temporarily closed from 7am-10pm on Haight between Lyon and Masonic and Central between Page and Waller. Crews will plant 1970s-model cars on those blocks, while production trucks will be parked on Oak between Central and Lyon and on Buena Vista Avenue between Upper Terrace and Park Hill Avenue.
