For those navigating the streets this morning, it appears that the SFPD has created a blockade in the vicinity of Fifth, Folsom and Harrison streets to investigate a stabbing this morning.

According to a witness who tweeted from the scene, the victim is a construction worker and two suspects have been taken into custody.

[Update: 12:23pm 6/10] The Chronicle reports that the victim, a female construction worker, has died. The SFPD told the paper that a man and a woman allegedly stabbed her repeatedly during a confrontation at Fifth and Shipley, where she was working, then fled the scene. Both were arrested at Fifth and Folsom. The investigation is ongoing, but an alleged murder weapon has also been recovered.

[Update: 12:13pm 6/13] According to the Examiner, the victim has been identified as 58-year-old Mitzi Campbell, a San Francisco resident. Campbell was a 2013 graduate of CityBuild, San Francisco’s construction job training program, and a member of Local 261.
