The SF Fire Department reported to the scene of a fatal car crash at a home at 182 32nd Ave., between El Camino Del Mar and California St., shortly after 2 this afternoon. The collision caused a fire at the home, which was reported as under control by 2:30pm.
The crash appears to have been the result of a northbound car missing the bend in the road, which veers to the left around the property at 182 32nd Ave. The car, which an SFFD spokesperson told KRON was traveling at a high rate of speed, drove into the house's south-facing picture window, causing the fire.
It's unclear at this time if the deceased was the driver, a passenger, or a person inside the home.
