Now that we're halfway through another week, let's take a look at some events going on around the neighborhood.

Head over to the GLBT History Museum tomorrow night for the opening night party for "Stroke: From Under The Mattress To The Museum Wall." The exhibit, running from July 21st to October 16th, is a "historical retrospective of erotic illustrations by artists who worked for gay men’s magazines from the 1950s to the 1990s."

If Pokémon Go remains as popular as it is now at the end of the week, expect a big crowd for Friday's Castro Pokemon Go Gay Happy Hour Crawl. The crawl begins at Toad Hall, but no map with an updated route has been posted yet, so Pokémon Go play may pop up anywhere. Can't wait to catch 'em all? A big citywide Pokémon crawl is going down tonight, and the Castro is on the route.

Up Your Alley, more commonly known as Dore Alley, is next weekend, and Strut is kicking things off on Monday with MagneKink: Attracting Queer Kinky Men To Strut. The third annual event is an opportunity for kinky queer men to meet up before the craziness of the weekend begins.

On Tuesday, Marga Gomez will kick off a new monthly comedy show, Marga's Comedy Salon, at Spark Arts. This month's show will feature Natasha Muse, Karinda Dobbs, Jim Provenzano, and of course, Gomez herself. The next show is scheduled for August 23rd.

Here's the full rundown of this week's events. Check out many more events from around the city at hoodline.com/events—and to see your event featured in an upcoming events roundup, submit it here.
