Inner Sunset Week: Girls' Baseball Tourney, Classical Music Jam, Brain Science LecturePhoto via Baseball for All

There's a wide range of events cropping up across the Inner Sunset in the next several days, well-suited for a neighborhood with such a diverse population.

Problem Library is hosting its first live classical music house party tomorrow at its storefront near 15th & Irving. Musicians Mike Jones and John Burke will play selections from their violin-piano repertoire, including pieces by Bach, Prokofiev, "plus an assortment of bonbons" like rags, show tunes and other surprises.

Concerto in D Library kicks off at 7pm sharp: a $10 donation for the musicians is requested.

Head to Kezar Stadium on Saturday morning for the opening ceremonies of Baseball for All, a national girls' baseball championship tournament. Twenty teams from all over North America will play a series of games from July 23-28, including 50 young women from San Francisco.

Games will be played at Moscone Rec Center, but Saturday's free event at Kezar will feature baseball activities, a parade, and a ceremonial first pitch.  And when the Nationals are over, San Francisco will have its own girls baseball team.
