Two people were brutally attacked in separate incidents in the Tenderloin yesterday.

At 10:30am, a 60-year-old man was mauled by a man and his dog on the 200 block of Jones Street. The SFPD reports that the victim and a 57-year-old man were in a verbal altercation when the 57-year-old physically assaulted him. The suspect’s dog then joined in the attack, causing further injury.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is now in stable condition. The suspect was not apprehended.

At 6:30pm at Larkin and Golden Gate, a 47-year-old woman was assaulted by three unidentified men. According to the SFPD, the victim was hit in the head with a large object while walking down the street. The suspects then put a cloth bag over her head and proceeded to punch her multiple times. 

The suspects then fled and have not been apprehended. The victim was transported to the hospital and is also in stable condition.
