Castro Week: A Tribute To Sylvester, 'Little Mermaid' Sing-Along, AIDS/Lifecycle First Friday, MorePhoto: Rozzie Brickman/Instagram

If you're sticking around the Castro for the extended Labor Day weekend and still looking for a few things to do, check out our highlights of some of the happenings going on.

Tonight, head on over to the GLBT History Museum for Mighty Reels: Happy Birthday Sylvester, which pays tribute to the much-loved local disco diva, who passed away in 1988. For the celebration, archival video of Sylvester performing will be shown along side clips of other Megatone Records artists.

Starting Thursday night and running through Monday, the Castro Theatre will go "under the sea" with sing-along screenings of The Little Mermaid. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and goody bags will be handed out to all in attendance.

Considered participating in AIDS/Lifecycle, but not really sure if it's for you? Stop by Hi Tops on Friday for AIDS/Lifecycle First Fridays. There will be plenty of AIDS/Lifecycle veterans there to answer your questions.

If you're out and about on Saturday afternoon in the Castro, make your way on over to Jane Warner Paza for some live industrial ragtime music from Parlor Tricks

With a day off on Monday, you can stay out late on Sunday—perhaps dancing into the night at Big Top Sundays at Beaux. RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 contestant Laganja Estranja will be there to perform and host this extravaganza.
