Summer is coming to an end, but the week ahead offers a variety of activities around the Inner Sunset. Join a cannabis-fueled fun run, meet District 7's Supervisor candidates, sharpen your urban bicycling skills, or take part in one of the myriad activities slated to take place in the city's most central neighborhoods.

Tonight, 6:30pm: UCSF Quarterly Community Meeting

With a daytime population that tops 15,000, UCSF Parnassus is practically a city within a city. Stop by the quarterly meeting tonight, where campus neighbors will meet with UCSF reps to discuss new construction work, plans to cull Mt. Sutro's eucalyptus forest, and other pressing issues.

Thursday, 7pm: District 7 Candidates Forum

Many San Franciscans wouldn't dream of visiting a new store or restaurant without reading a Yelp review, but what's the best way to learn about a politician? From the source, of course.

Tomorrow, denizens of District 7 are encouraged to head to the County Fair Building at 9th & Irving from 7-9pm to meet the candidates running for Supervisor. Joel EngardioJohn FarrellBen MatrangaNorman Yee (incumbent), and Michael Young will be on hand to meet and greet voters. The Voter Guide is a helpful resource, but what's better than looking a politician in the eye and directly asking a question?

Here's a look at what else is going on in the Inner Sunset over the next week. For more activites around town, visit hoodline.com/events.
