Naked Trump Statue Removed From The Castro; May Find New Home In Union SquarePhoto: Brian Ray/Hoodline

After a full day of spectacle, San Francisco Public Works has removed the naked Donald Trump statue from the Castro.

According to the Chronicle, crews carted the statue—one of five that appeared around the country yesterday—away before dawn this morning.

But this may not be the last we'll see of Mr. Trump in the buff. District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener announced on Twitter yesterday that he is working to convince Public Works to allow the Union Square pub Lefty O'Doul's to display it publicly leading up to the election.

We'll let you know if their bid to adopt the presidential candidate's doppelgänger is accepted.
