It's time, once again, to iron out your weekend plans.
If you haven't visited CounterPulse (inside the former Dollhouse Theater) yet, here's a good excuse: Starting tonight, artists-in-residence Zoë Klein and Stephanie Bastos are taking the stage at 80 Turk to showcase autobiographical dance performances exploring identity, freedom and loss. Tickets run $12-$35, and shows run this weekend and next.
From 5-7pm Friday, the Hospitality House Community Arts Program is celebrating its latest group exhibition, "Collaboration." As always, 100 percent of the proceeds go straight to the artists themselves.
Finally, with 64 and somewhat sunny on the forecast for Saturday, what better way to spend the day than exploring the base of the Golden Gate Bridge? In honor of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, the agency is offering a free shuttle ride from the Main Public Library to Fort Point (and back). To partake, all you need to do is RSVP and get down to the library before 10:30am to hop onboard.
