Little Artistas, the San Francisco-based arts, crafts and language studio, will be opening its fourth location at Ghirardelli Square on September 12th. The business currently has three other locations in Glen Park, Noe Valley and the Sunset.

According to a press release, the new studio in the Wurster Building, which overlooks the Bay and Alcatraz, "aims to instill a lifelong love for art by creating a safe space for kids to explore the art of creative play."

The 2,400-square-foot room consists of a large art studio and a retail space that will sell cooking equipment and art supplies for children.

This new location will also include Culinary Artistas, a new cooking program. These new classes are meant to not only be fun for children, but to also help them "develop creative minds and healthy bodies." Classes will be held in a 1,200-square-foot area that includes a full kitchen.

Both of the studios will be offering "a variety of engaging and inspiring art and cooking classes" in both, English and Spanish. Classes will include art media, ceramics, screen-printing and more.

To prepare for the official opening, the studio is offering the public a sneak peek this weekend. Classes will officially begin on Monday, September 12th, and the grand opening party will take place on September 18th11-3pm.
