SFPD Announces $250K Reward In Hayes Valley Quadruple HomicidePhoto: Jessica Christian/Twitter

A year and a half after four young men were shot to death in a car in Hayes Valley, SFPD is asking for the public's assistance in finding more information in the case—and offering a $250,000 reward for any information that proves helpful, in an attempt to "bring healing and justice to the victims’ families."

The quadruple homicide occurred around 10pm on January 9th, 2015, when Yalani Chinyamurindi, 19, Harith Atchan, 21, David Saucier, 20, and Manuel O’Neal, 22, were sitting inside a 2005 Honda double-parked near Page and Laguna. Another vehicle raked their car with more than 15 rounds of bullets before speeding away. Each victim was shot multiple times, and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

After more than a year of investigation, a break in the case finally came in late July, when 27-year-old Lee Farley was named as a suspect. Farley, who has since been charged with four counts of murder, was already incarcerated in federal prison on an unrelated charge.

Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to contact Sergeant Sanders or Sergeant Discenza of the SFPD Homicide detail at (415)-553-1145, or after hours at the Department Operations Center at (415)-553-1071. You can also contact the anonymous SFPD tip line at (415)-575-4444, or text a tip to TIP411, beginning the text with "SFPD."
