If you're a patron of Divisadero's uber-popular bakery/coffee shop The Mill, you may have noticed a sign in the window announcing their application for a license to serve beer and wine.

According to California ABC records, an application from Four Barrel Coffee (which runs The Mill alongside Josey Baker Bread) was processed on August 29th.

Along with the potential offering of beer and wine, Josey Baker Bread also plans to offer a nightly dinner menu akin to what they offer on their regular Monday and Wednesday pizza nights (held from 6-9pm), with a rotating selection of a single pie and seasonal salad. Baker also told us that he's playing with the idea of offering soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Baker referred us to Four Barrel for more info on beer and wine service, but they declined to offer further details. We were also unable to uncover any information regarding when the license might be approved, or an exact date that dinner service might get going, but we'll keep you posted as more information emerges.
