This Saturday, October 15th, at 10am, Sanders will speak at a rally for District 6 Supervisor and State Senate candidate Jane Kim, to be held at Kim's Civic Center campaign headquarters (37 Grove St.) After both candidates speak at 10:30am, the group will "hit the streets to rally support for Jane Kim and other progressive local candidates."
Back in May, Sanders chose Kim as one of the first eight state-level candidates to be endorsed by his political organization, Our Revolution, leading to a spike in donations for Kim. She's facing off against District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener for the State Senate seat, and won the June primary election against him.
“I’m honored and grateful to have Senator Sanders’ support and I’m so excited he will be joining me again in San Francisco," Kim said in a statement. "I’m running for State Senate to make sure our cities work for all of us and I’m grateful to have Senator Sanders by my side to help spread our message."
Sanders previously appeared in San Francisco for several events during his primary campaign, including a rally at City College, an interview with the Chronicle's editorial board (with a pit stop at Sightglass Coffee), and a union rally in the Financial District.

Update, 5:39pm: Sanders fans can get a double dose of their favorite senator on Saturday. According to an email he sent to his campaign list, Sanders will be heading from Kim's rally to another rally in the Yerba Buena Ballroom at SoMa's Marriott Marquis (780 Mission St.), to be held at noon.
The rally will be in support of Proposition 61, a statewide ballot measure that aims to regulate prescription drug prices by requiring state agencies to pay the same prices that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) does. "If we are going to defeat Big Pharma, we need Californians to know what's at stake," Sanders writes.
