Halloween is almost here—have you got your costume ready? If so, there's plenty to do in the Castro this weekend. While there's no official Halloween event with street closures planned, as has been the case for the past few years, you can expect to see an uptick in visitors to the Castro for all the festivities.

Tomorrow night, Halloween events kick off at The Edge with The Monster Show's Annual Halloween Show, which is sure to be a raucous evening. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and DJ MC2 will be spinning all night long.

The weekend brings a Halloween double dose of RuPaul's Drag Race's Pearl, starting Friday night with a special DJ set. Then on Saturday, Pearl will be back, this time in drag with a VIP meet & greet.

On Saturday afternoon, the Anti Eviction Queers will be leading Castro Creepy Crawl, an anti-eviction march that involves "casting spells and exorcising the ghoulish spirits of greedy landlords." Locals are invited to come dressed as their "favorite leechy landlords, poltergeist politicians, rabid realtors, and spooky speculators." No official map has been posted, but you can expect demonstrations outside one, if not all, of Les Natali's properties.

If haven't already been Halloweened out, spend the night before Halloween at Beaux for Big Top Sundays with Tyra Sanchez and Honey Mahogany.

With the official date of Halloween on a Monday this year, things may be a little less crazy than usual, but you never know. If you're looking for something family-friendly to do, take your kids on over to the children's Halloween party hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Or consider heading to the Castro Theatre for a screening of John Waters' Multiple Maniacs, starring Divine.

Got a Halloween event you're planning on attending this week? Let us know in the comments below, and tell us what your costume will be this year. And be sure to submit your events for the chance to be featured in an upcoming post.

Have a Happy Halloween!
