On September 6th, six people were displaced after a fire in a three-story residential building at Haight and Octavia streets. The fire, which started around 2:12am, ultimately went to two alarms, and was under control by 3am. Flames were heaviest in the building's attic area.

Now, SFFD officials have told KTVU that the fire was deliberately set. The department refused to comment on any further details, as the investigation is ongoing. Know more about what happened? Send us a tip or text us at (415) 200-2233.
