SFPD has announced the arrest of three suspects in the stabbing death of 26-year-old Zachary Banks, who was attacked by five suspects near U.N. Plaza on the night of Nov. 18th.

Yesterday, "SFPD Narcotics Unit located all three suspects in this case in the Tenderloin district and placed them under arrest," according to an SFPD press release.

The suspects are described as 21-year-old SF resident Edgar Gutierrez, 33-year-old SF resident Roberto Ventura, and 21-year-old Norlan Casco. All three suspects were booked at the San Francisco County Jail on murder charges, with Gutierrez and Ventura also booked on unrelated warrants.

According to a GoFundMe campaign created by Banks' mother, the victim "was a brother, an uncle, a nephew and a best friend to many ... Anyone who knew Zachary, know as 'Frosty' to his friends, knew that he had a heart of gold."

Police ask that anyone with information on the case contact the San Francisco Police anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
