A 56-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries last night after being struck by a vehicle at Fifth and Bluxome streets in SoMa. 

According to police, the man was crossing the street around 11:17pm when he was struck by the vehicle. An SFPD representative confirmed that the incident was a hit-and-run, and the driver of the vehicle, who was male, is being sought. She had no update on the victim's condition.
