Haight Retailer 'Ducks In A Row' Set To Close For Good Late This MonthPhoto: Amy Stephenson/Hoodline

It's official: Ducks in a Row, the Haight's vintage-inspired women's clothier, will be closing its doors for good at the end of the month, co-owner James Leonard said.

The business's wholesale and online operations, however, will continue as usual.

"While we had a good summer and business was going well," Leonard said, "we recently had a baby and moved away from the city to be closer to family. Ultimately it has been very difficult and stressful trying to manage the growth of our brand while travelling back and forth and running the store, and we have decided to continue moving forward with just our wholesale and online presence with Ducks In A Row."

The closure is the final chapter in a series of changes for Leonard and his business partner. Earlier this year, they closed their former venture, Fan Clothing, unexpectedly relaunching it months later as a brick-and-mortar storefront for Ducks In A Row.

The store is selling off its active inventory, and everything is available for $10-20.

"We love how so many people have shown us so much support," Leonard said. "[We] very much appreciate everyone's business."
