Fresh off last night's whirlwind delivery schedule, reindeer Velvet and Tinsel are greeting visitors today at the California Academy of Sciences, part of the 'Tis the Season for Science that ends on January 8th.

Now in its sixth year, the science museum's winter wonderland includes a snowman theater, live performances and an exhibit where families can learn about how reindeers adapt to their surroundings.

The exhibit is open today from 11am - 5pm, with last entry at 4pm. From December 26 - 30, doors will be open from 9:30am - 6pm with last entry at 5pm.
