State Senator-elect Scott Wiener joined Capt. John Sanford, Jr. and the staff of Park Station at today's second annual Peace on the Streets holiday party at the Waller Street skate park.

Twenty-six San Francisco public school students who answered the question, "If I were a San Francisco police officer, how would I promote peace on the streets?" were rewarded with new bicycles. Wiener read one of the winning essays and distributed the first set of wheels.
