Tomorrow: Tip Hoodline And Join Our Coverage Of SantaCon 2016Photo: Pea Tree Sees/Flickr

'Tis the season for SantaCon—for some folks, anyway. For others, the homegrown tradition of dressing up as Santa and getting drunk at certain bars is a good reason to stay at home, or get far away from the festivities.

Tomorrow, Hoodline is trying to track the best and worst of the controversial drinking holiday—with our readers' help.

We’re collecting videos from readers showcasing the good (the creative outfits, the toy drives for kids, the group sing-a-longs) and the bad (the poor public behavior, the overwhelmed watering holes, the crowded sidewalks).

Share your experiences, and we’ll put together a compilation video story that we’ll publish Monday. Here’s how:

Tag any of our social media accounts below with your video:

Snapchat: HoodlineSF

Instagram: Hoodline

Twitter: Hoodline

Facebook: Hoodline

Or leave a link to your video in the comments on this post. We'll collect videos until 5pm on Sunday, December 11th.

We also just set up our Snapchat handle, so to celebrate, we created our own geofilter for tomorrow. You can see it if you're using your phone at any of the bars on Columbus Avenue in North Beach, between Filbert Street and Broadway.
