A man was beaten and robbed by two men in Mission on Tuesday, marking the third attack in the neighborhood in just a few days.

A pair of men in their 20s beat the victim with an unknown object, emptied his pockets, and ran away from the scene near Clarion Alley and Mission Street, according to police. The incident was spotted by a witness at about 9:20am.

The victim was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The two other attacks this weekend also left victims with life-threatening injuries. An SFPD spokesperson today said there were no new developments in any of the three cases.
