Whether you're into visual arts, sports, sci-fi or comedy, there's plenty of ways to have fun and be active this weekend in Oakland.

Tomorrow, rain or shine, Oakland Art Murmur hosts its free First Friday gallery walk, when galleries and other venues invite the public in for artist receptions.

If science fiction is more your taste, the Chabot Science Center is hosting 50 Years, a traveling exhibit commemorating Star Trek’s golden anniversary.

Attendees can take part in activities like a crash course in Klingon, transporter demonstrations, drinks, music, dancing and much more. You're also encouraged to dress in your favorite Star Trek-inspired costume.

Enjoy free admission on Sunday to the Oakland Museum of California, whose current exhibitions include the rise of sneaker culture, as well as photographs and items commemorating the Black Panthers' 50th anniversary.

Here's a full roundup for the weekend:

Thursday, February 2nd

Friday, February 3rd

Saturday, February 4th

Sunday, February 5th
