The Best And Funniest Signs From The Civic Center 'No Ban, No Wall' Protest"Worst episode of Black Mirror ever." | Photos: Allie Pape & Richard Procter/Hoodline

Nearly 2,000 people came out to Civic Center on Saturday afternoon to express their opposition to President Trump's executive order on immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries. And as has become de rigueur since Trump's inauguration, they came bearing a variety of creative signs.

As a follow-up to our previous post on signs from the Women's March, here are some of the funniest, most moving, and most original signs we spotted at Saturday's protest.

A sign using the names of the seven affected countries (plus Mexico) to spell out "American."
"I don't like Trump. Bad president, terrible rating."
"I am a Muslim immigrant, and I know who Frederick Douglass was."
"I'm with her"—the Statue of Liberty, that is.
One young attendee drew herself on her sign: "We believe in open arms, open doors."
"Wall! Yeah! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing."
"Donald Trump is not very smart, and also he seems like a real jerk."
"Free hugs for rational Republicans."
"I am a Yemeni, and I am not a terrorist!"
"They're refugees because they can't go home, asshole."
"No ban, no wall. Justice for all."
"My parents didn't immigrate from Iran for me to be silent."
"Proud daughter (and granddaughter) of a Syrian immigrant."
"Proud to be 7th generation Scottish, 5th generation Chinese, 4th generation Japanese, native Hawaiian, Army brat American."
"We gave you hummus—what more do you want?"
A quote from George Washington's letters: "I had always hoped that this land might become a safe and agreeable asylum to the virtuous and persecuted part of mankind, to whatever nation they might belong."
"We can do this every weekend, asshole."
