A man is in critical condition this morning after being stabbed several times near the intersection of Market and 7th streets.

Police say a screaming 36-year-old woman approached the 51-year-old man around 11:35am yesterday, March 13th, and stabbed him several times with a knife. The victim then attempted to flee.

Officers arrived on scene and arrested the suspect, while the victim was transported to the hospital.
