Police in San Francisco's Richmond District are asking the public for help in describing and identifying suspects in a series of attacks on neighborhood businesses.

Five businesses in the 2000, 3000 and 4000 blocks of Geary Boulevard reported having their windows shot out on Saturday or Sunday by a firearm, pellet gun or other type of projectile, police said today.

At least three of the reported incidents occurred within 10 minutes of each other, between 7:16 p.m. and 7:26 p.m. on Sunday, in some cases while customers were inside. Witnesses said they heard the sound of glass breaking and found what looked like bullet holes in the front glass windows.

According to the Richmond SF Blog, the businesses that were struck were Assab Eritrean Cuisine (2845 Geary Blvd.), Psychic Shop (3127 Geary Blvd.), US Bank (3550 Geary Blvd.), Star India Restaurant (3751 Geary Blvd.), and Heaven Health Center (4411 Geary Blvd.) No injuries were reported.
