The 106th running of Bay to Breakers is behind us, which means it's time to look back at some of the most memorable costumes and participants who joined yesterday's 12k footrace.
The race's official winners were Kenyan Philemon Cheboi, who completed the route in 34:48, and Buze Biriba of Ethiopia, who was the fastest woman in the race, clocking in at 39:48.
These participants may not have been the swiftest of the lot, but in terms of creativity, they left the competition far behind:
