3 Men Hospitalized After 2 Separate Mission AttacksPhoto: Google Maps

On Monday, two separate incidents in the Mission left one man injured, while two others received life-threatening injuries.

Around 4:27pm, two men were attacked on 16th and Capp streets. The victims—a 21-year-old man and another man in his early 20s—were chased by an unknown suspect.

The 21-year-old man was found on the 1600 block of 15th Street, where he told police that he had been chased and hit with a bottle, then discovered that he had been stabbed. Both victims were taken to a hospital.

Later on Monday, another man was stabbed and was critically injured on the  2900 block of 16th Street (near South Van Ness), a block away from where the earlier attack occurred.

In that incident, a 56-year-old man was arguing with a 30-year-old man around 10pm. After the argument escalated, the 30-year-old suspect stabbed the other man and fled the scene by heading southbound on Capp Street.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made in either case.
