Here's an overview of notable incidents reported around the Castro since our last crime roundup

All reports are listed in chronological order and come from the SFPD's daily crime recaps, unless otherwise noted.

Church Street Robbery

On May 23 at 1:30am, a 41-year-old man was robbed by another man near Church and 15th. The suspect approached the victim and hit him with an unknown item before stealing the victim's backpack, gym clothes, shoes, and a key.

The suspect then fled on Church Street in a vehicle; the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No arrest was made.

Ten Suspects Assault, Rob Two Victims

At 6:23pm on May 24 near Dolores and 18th, 10 men in their twenties approached two other men aged 22 and 23, and began to assault them. One of the suspects brandished what appeared to be a gun and robbed the victims, stealing a cell phone and necklace.

After the suspects fled, both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police recovered the gun at the scene, which was a toy. No arrests were made.

Bicycle-Riding Suspect Robs Woman

On May 26 at 10:45pm, a 29-year-old woman was near Dolores and 16th when an unknown suspect on a bicycle approached her from behind. After a struggle ensued, the suspect stole the victim's purse and rode away. No arrest was made.

Man Assaulted In Home Invasion Robbery

A man, 38, was working inside a home near Clover and 18th at 7:15pm on June 10 when a male suspect entered the home through an open front door. The suspect punched the victim and stole his wallet, money, and credit card before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and no arrest was made.
