After a six-year run, Wing Wings is on the market, according to a Facebook post by owner Christian Ciscle.

"It's time," Ciscle wrote. "If you know anybody who might be interested, please let them know."

Wing Wings opened in June 2011. With a menu built for comfort, the joint Ciscle now describes as a "dope little spot in the Lower Haight" is best known for free-range wings with unique flavors (e.g., "Angry Korean," Orange Miso), and soulful sides like homemade potato salad and freshly baked biscuits.

The sale price includes a fully-loaded kitchen, beer and wine license, a walk-in refrigerator, three fryers, two ovens, and a six-burner range. With approximately 1,100 square feet, the restaurant has counter seating for 10, "but room for more," according to the listing.

Monthly rent is $4,100, with a four-year term.

Customer Cynthia Vega expressed surprise when learning Wing Wings was for sale because the restaurant has "an incredibly loyal" neighborhood following.

When she had a flat tire nearby a few years ago, a Lower Haighter refused to accept a cash reward after coming to her aid. "But he did let me buy him and his family dinner at Wing Wings," she said, "and I know he was happy to go pick up that order."
