Last night, officers from Ingleside Station arrested four men in the Excelsior district after an armed robbery that targeted four victims who were sitting in a parked car.

Police responded to the 700 block of Vienna St. at 11:25pm after a 62-year-old woman, a 57-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and another male of unknown age reported that four armed men in their 20s approached them on foot as they sat inside a vehicle.

Two assailants aimed a shotgun and a pistol at the group, and one of the gunmen stole a purse and a backpack before the suspects fled on foot.

Police saw the suspects and made an arrest, at which time the pistol and shotgun were recovered.
