Looking to score some healthy fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 1298 Church St. (between 25th St & Jersey St) in Noe Valley, the new arrival is called leCupboard Cafe.

It's the first full-scale cafe for leCupboard, which bills itself as "a healthful food start-up that serves fresh, plant-based, nutrient-dense meals," and is also experimenting with vending machine-style offerings. Open since June 20th, the Noe Valley location features ready-made entrees like le Koh Samui (Thai mango and cashew salad with bean sprouts, roasted red pepper, scallions and basil) and le Cairo (eggplant whole grain seksu falafel over a bed of shredded kale, cherry tomatoes and spicy romesco sauce), plus an array of breakfast items and snacks served in glass jars, tea, and pour-over coffee. LeCupboard Cafe has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Karina P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 10th, said: "This is the place to go if you're in a rush and want healthy food that also tastes good. The also have very high standards when it freshness and quality of ingredients."

Yelper Maddie M. added: “I am vegan and have struggled to find good and filling options in this neighborhood. I stopped by this weekend with a friend and we split the Santorini chia pudding and the Sausalito avocado toast."
