New Moroccan Spot 'Khamsa' Opens Its Doors In The MissionPhoto: Adil E./Yelp

Hungry? A new neighborhood Moroccan spot has you covered. Called Khamsa, the new arrival is located at 1503 15th St. (between S. Van Ness Ave. and Natoma St.) in the Mission.

As we reported back in April, Khamsa is a fusion concept that aims to give traditional Moroccan flavors a “California culinary twist.” Open since Saturday, July 22nd, the new spot features an outdoor patio and a menu offering that includes meat and fish tajines, basteeya, lamb couscous, baklava, a full wine list and more.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.

Adam Z., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on July 24th, said: "Really enjoyed my experience here. Fantastic to have a place like this open in our 'hood. Not many Moroccan restaurants in SF to my knowledge, so good addition."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Khamsa is open daily from 11am–3pm, Friday and Saturday from 5pm–11pm, and Sunday–Thursday from 5pm–10pm.
