A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after she was assaulted during an attempted robbery in SoMa last night.

The incident occurred at 8pm on the first block of Lansing, near First Street. Three men approached the 69-year-old woman and struck her, knocking her to the ground.

One suspect also attempted to take the victim's property before all three fled the scene in a car.

The woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition. No arrests were made.
