A 27-year-old man was shot yesterday afternoon in the Mission as he was towing a vehicle on 1300 block of Alabama Street.

The incident occurred at 3:47pm; according to police, the victim  “was towing a vehicle which caused traffic congestion” when the suspect, described as a man between 25 and 30 years old, drove up next to him and shot him before fleeing northbound on Alabama Street.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrest was made in the case.
