Sandwich fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. The new addition to Encino, called Fat Sal's, is located at 16901 Ventura Blvd.—and already has quite a following. 

The Encino store is the newest addition to the Fat Sal family, with locations in Hollywood, Westwood, San Diego, and Austin, Tex.  With 40 unique sandwich options to choose from, there's something for everyone, from the Irresistible Italiano (ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, with sweet or hot peppers, shredded lettuce, tomato, red wine vinaigrette, on a hero), to the Fat Joey (pastrami, turkey, melted swiss, cole slaw, fries, and Russian dressing on a hero). 

Top off your meal with one of Fat Sal's signature sides, like the Bacon Cheeseburger Fries (chopped bacon cheeseburger, melted cheddar and mozzarella, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and fat sauce). (You can see the full Encino location menu here.)

With a 3-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, Fat Sal's has been warmly received by patrons.

Andrea R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 2nd, said: "Praise the lawd! The long promised Fat Sal's Encino - closest to my house-- is opening. This place is Fat, fat, fatter, and fattest."
