From the mischief-and-mayhem desk, we're here to report the demolition of a car by a runaway delivery truck in Cole Valley.

No one was injured in the collision, which occurred yesterday afternoon on Cole between 17th Street and Carmel, but the incident caused extensive damage to, well, everything in the truck's path.

According to witnesses, the truck rolled for half a block before jumping the curb, smashing through a light post, a front gate, a concrete planter, finally T-boning a red Infiniti that was parked in the owner's driveway.
