Mission St. Shooting Leaves Man Wounded In LegPhoto: SFPD Night Captains/Twitter

Police responded to a report of a shooting on Mission Street between 16th and 17th streets last night at 11:42pm. At the scene, they found a 22-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

According to the victim, he was walking when an unknown suspect “pointed a gun and shot rounds” in his direction.

The man was transported to a hospital, and a block was closed to traffic as police investigated the scene. No arrest was made in the case.
