New Tenderloin Thai Spot 'Lapats Thai Noodles Bar' Now OpenPhoto: C.P./Yelp

A new Thai spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to the Tenderloin, called Lapats Thai Noodles Bar, is located at 601 Larkin St. (between Willow St & Eddy St).

The new spot, which replaces Vietnamese spot Mangosteen, features a lunch and dinner menu with a variety of rice plates, pan-fried noodles, curries and house noodles, including the Lapat's Special Noodle (sliced pork, ground pork, fish ball in house pork bone soup) and Kuay Jub (rice noodles with pork entrails, crispy pork belly and boiled eggs in Thai herb soup). (See the full menu here.)

Lapats Thai Noodles Bar has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

C P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 5th, said: "Stopped by here a little after 5 on a Saturday. Super yummy pad Thai - the best I've had in the city since moving here 7 years ago."

Yelper Brianna B. added: “Cute little place! Food was really good. I got some beef noodle dish with beef balls and a spicy beef blood broth."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Lapats Thai Noodles Bar is open daily from 11am–10:30pm.
