A 28-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being assaulted on a Muni bus last night, near where the Excelsior, Balboa Park and Outer Mission neighborhoods all meet. 

While the man was on a bus near Mission and Geneva streets at 11:03pm, he was assaulted by two suspects, both in their early 20s. 

The victim got off the bus, but the suspects continued to hit him. 

The victim was later taken to a hospital, and expected to survive his injuries.
