New Escape Game Spot 'Maze Rooms' Now Open In Studio CityPhoto: Maze Rooms/Yelp

A new escape game spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 3535 Cahuenga Blvd W. in Studio City, the fresh arrival is called Maze Rooms.

Escape rooms are popping up all over the country with a wide variety of games and puzzles to choose from; Maze Rooms has 22 games to play with varying skill levels across three Southern California locations.

This new spot currently offers one game, Wizard's Tower, where players look for a well-hidden secret to eternal life. (A new game called Lost in Space is coming soon.) To play Wizard's Tower, you "work as a team to solve puzzles, explore clues, and use available tools combined with your logic and senses to find the keys and open the door to freedom"—all within the 60-minute time limit.

The fresh arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Brian B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 26th, said: "My 13-year-old son and I did a new room called the wizards room and and we loved it! It's not the hardest room but it's not the easiest either."

Yelper Sue C. added: “Loved Wizard's Tower! Our team has done 44 rooms and this one is up there in the top 10. It just opened so had a few bumps but they were minor and didn't detract from the fun.”

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Maze Rooms is open Monday–Thursday from 10am–11pm, and Friday–Sunday from 10am–midnight.
