Police reported today that a robber assaulted a woman on Sunday morning in SoMa while she was carrying her infant daughter, leaving the woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

In the incident, which occurred around 9:10 am near 7th and Natoma streets, a 31-year-old woman was carrying her daughter and talking on the phone when a man in his 20s approached, stole her phone and shoved both victims to the ground.

Although the woman was injured, the child was not harmed, said police. No arrests have been made in the case.
