On October 6th at 5:45am, a 50-year-old male suspect followed a 63-year-old man into his home on the unit block of Sanchez Street. Once inside, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife.

12 suspects assault, rob Dolores Park teenager

On October 4th between 2-6:35pm, a 17-year-old boy was in Dolores Park when he was approached by a group of 12 suspects. The group assaulted the teenager, stealing his belt, money, and wallet before fleeing the scene.

No arrests have been made, and police are searching for anyone who may have information on the incident, encouraging them to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.

Incidents like the 12-suspect assault have prompted the city to spend $250,000 to install security cameras, which will be installed in the coming weeks. Two full-time park rangers have also been assigned, which has reduced trash and vandalism, according to Robert Brust, chair of the steering committee for Dolores Park Works.
