Hungry? A new neighborhood Greek spot has you covered. The fresh arrival to Roxborough, called Yiro Yiro, is located at 6024 Ridge Ave.

This new Greek eatery keeps things simple with a customizable menu featuring four different types of yiros (also known to some as gyros).

Choose between chicken, pork, lamb and beef, or falafel, served in pita or on a plate with a salad and a side. Top it off with a sauce like tzatziki, spicy feta dip, hummus and more.

Sides include French fries, rice pilaf, and stuffed grape leaves. (You can take a peak at the menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Yiro Yiro seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Kris C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 1st, said: "It took a long time for these guys to open, but I'm glad they finally did. Having been to Greece a few times on vacation, I can say that this is the closest and most authentic version of Greek street food."

Yelper Clarissa J. added: “I heard this place opened, so the bf and I decided to order takeout! I got the chicken skewers plate with rice pilaf and the bf got the pork yiro with dolmas and we both got tzatziki sauce.”

And Alexandra G. said: "Great new addition to the food scene up on the Ridge. This place is brand spanking new (it opened one week ago). The decor is simple and modern and very clean and new inside."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Yiro Yiro is open daily from 11am–10pm.
