A skateboarder sustained life-threatening injuries last night in the Inner Richmond after colliding with a car, police have reported.

The incident occurred at 7:01pm when a 33-year-old woman on a skateboard traveling northbound on 7th Avenue near Balboa Street reportedly ran a stop sign and crashed into the front end of a car driven by a 40-year-old man.

The victim was transported to a hospital, and the driver, who was not arrested, remained on the scene.
