20 Festive Events For A Christmas WeekendPhoto: David Yu photography/Facebook

This is the shortest day of the year, but you still have time to plan the long Christmas weekend ahead.

Get a head start tonight for the first of two holiday shows at SF Oasis headlined by X-Factor finalist Jason Brock, who'll be joined by a trio comprised of singer Paula West, flutist Gerald Beckett, and Dee Spencer, founder of the SFSU Jazz Department.

"It's going to sound and feel amazing," Brock told Hoodline.

Tomorrow fortify yourself with free coffee and doughnuts in the Mission, join a festive flash mob in SoMa, or dress up and enjoy a pop culture variety show in the FiDi.

Christmas day services start early on Saturday at Grace Cathedral, but there are Russian holiday bells to check out in the afternoon and the sweet sounds of Christmas caroling in the Outer Sunset in the evening.

On Sunday, Little Brothers/Friends of the Elderly is seeking volunteers to make holiday visits to their clients, and eager diners can find holiday meals with special menus at the St. Regis, Locanda and Le P'tit Laurent.

Here's our complete roundup for the days ahead:
