Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, the three-day weekend is a chance to unwind and reflect on the past year.

And if you're sharing the holiday with guests or family, there's no reason to feel stuck on the couch watching a Christmas special when you can all put on something warm and head out together.

Tonight, enjoy live performances of Fred Frith Trio with IMA & Watkins/ Peacock at Starline Nightclub or DennyDennyBreakfast, The Rabbit Hole Orchestra and Molly Bolten at The Uptown.

On Friday, Piedmont Piano Company is staging a benefit concert for North Bay fire relief.  On Saturday and Sunday, the Oakland Ballet Company is performing The Nutcracker at Paramount Theater with the Oakland Symphony.

Here's a look at other events happening around The Town over the next few days:

Thursday, December 21

Friday, December 22

Saturday, December 23

Sunday, December 24
